Khondlo Tours started in Hluhluwe in 2016. Guests walk the footpaths of Macabuzela village with a local guide, visit family homesteads and farms, and go into the game reserves the team grew up next to. Tours include the Macabuzela Village Walking Tour, Hluhluwe-iMfolozi game drives, iSimangaliso Wetland Park, the St Lucia hippo boat cruise, an elephant interaction and a 4-day trip to Ponta do Ouro in Mozambique (border crossing at Kosi Bay handled for you). Door-to-door shuttles from King Shaka (Durban), Richards Bay and OR Tambo airports, the cruise terminal and hotels. Local guides, licensed drivers, and part of every village tour goes back to the community.
